What is a Purge Shredding Service?
Our purge service is used to clean out large amounts of material. The sensitive documents are placed into bins that are used to feed the shredder. The material is destroyed using a pierce and tear method. All of the pieces are mixed in with thousands of pounds of other shredded paper. Once all material has been properly destroyed, a certificate of destruction is issued for your records. Purge services are not performed on a regular schedule but rather upon request.

Record or file purges can be completed at your location with a Wiggins mobile shred truck. We’ll pull up to your door, consolidate your files or documents to be shredded, securely take them to the truck and shred right there while you watch.
Have filing cabinets instead of boxes? Wiggins can provide you with large, portable, locking containers that you can fill with your expired records prior to our visit. We’ll drop them off empty and pick them up when you’ve filled them.

A good experience from beginning to end. Chrissy provided necessary details before we contracted with Wiggins and followed up with us after the job had been completed to be sure all was done satisfactorily. Had 30 boxes of old business records to dispose of. Two Wiggins men stuffed all that into three bins and had the job done in less than an hour. Would certainly recommend the service to those with a lot to dispose of.

It was so easy to set up the shredding session with Kati. She was so helpful and answered all of our questions. Matt came to do the shredding at our storage unit. He called ahead as they said he would and he was on time. Matt was very pleasant and professional. He got the big job done in a short amount of time. It was a pleasure working with Wiggins. After discovery of personal records of three generations in mother's "office", decided to shred a few 35 gallon barrels. Wiggins were one of the few who would come to an apartment complex.
