Phase Shredding

What is Phase Shredding?

Our phase shredding service is used to clean out large amounts of material. The sensitive documents are placed into bins that are used to feed the shredder. The dimensions of the bins are 24" x 27" x 40" tall, which holds 250 lbs of paper or 8 file size boxes (9" x 12" x 18") depending on how they are packed and 5 legal size boxes (11" x 13" x 24"). The material is destroyed by the pierce and tear shred. All of the pieces come out smaller than a fingernail and are mixed in with 10,000 lbs of other shredded paper. Once all of the material has been properly destroyed, a certificate of destruction will be issued for your records. Phase shredding services are not performed on a regular schedule but upon request.

Options

To make your move or major clean out a little bit easier, we offer the service of dropping off a certain number of bins prior to the move. This gives you the ability to clean out your material at your convince and put them right into the bins instead of piling everything in one place.

    How long can they have the bins for?

    Once the bins are dropped off, you will go on either a weekly or bi-weekly pick up schedule, depending on the size of your job and the number of bins dropped off.

    What is the maximum number of bins we can leave?

    We can leave as many bins as you feel you need

    What is the minimum number of bins we can leave?

    5 bins are the minimum that will be dropped off at one time.
  • Scheduled One Time Service

    This is through appointment only. We come to you and shred all of your archived material on-site. A certificate of destruction is issued once everything has been properly destroyed
    • Have all material in one place ready to go when our employee gets there
    • Try and have everything on ground level. Surcharges apply for added distances, stairs and elevators
    • We ask that you schedule out about a week in advance.

The Actual Shredding Process

How big is the truck?

The truck is 13 ft tall and 33 ft long. It stands 8 ft wide. The shredder is inside the back of the truck.
